Architecture Week 15th-24th June this year takes being green as its theme asking ‘how green is our space?’ Issues under discussion will be climate change and sustainability as well as suggestions for innovative solutions for making and greening our spaces.
Architects should be high on the list of people to convert to the green cause as they have so much control over the design of new buildings and whether or not they are made eco-friendly. Everyone should consider attending one of the regional events accompanying Architecture Week to put forward the green view and make sure it stays firmly on architects’ agendas in the coming year.

To accompany Architecture Week, the website GrownUpGreen is offering six free copies of the special Ordnance Survey map Walking Into a Greener London. See GrownUpGreen for more details.
