goodone clothing was established as a result of discontent with an exploitative fashion industry, in terms of people and the environment. The name arose from the company’s vision of being...well, good, by producing garments that concentrate on reducing waste, energy use and pollution in the manufacturing process.
The label source most of their materials from textile recycling factories in and around London and manufacture their products in the goodone studio in Hackney, East London.
Recently, goodone have generated their own response to the Anya Hindmarch 'I'm Not a Plastic Bag' bag, with a limited edition, organic, cotton, fairly traded cloth bag for £8, adorned with the simple statement, 'Do I fucking look like a plastic bag?' I like the sentiment. This is available via the goodone website.

I saw some really great stuff from Good One on display at the ethical fashion show a few weeks back at Camden Green Fair. I hadn't heard of them before, but they certainly do some very cool clobber!
