Glam it up in vegan shoes by Mink

catalog_bull.jpgLook at these babies! Now that's what I call a shoe, and guess what? No animals were harmed in their making. They are part of an exclusive collection by Italian company Mink which have been made using no animal-derived materials. Instead they use natural or man made alternatives like cork, faux fur and denim. Each shoe is inspired by an animal, and then named after said mammal. This shoe is called 'Bull' and has a ruby red sole and is covered in sparkly black glitter. It's a refreshing change from some of the dull animal friendly shoes on the market, but unfortunately the US$400 price tag means that I'll just have to keep dreaming, unlike some of the celebs who have been spotted sporting Mink shoes, like Pam Anderson and Natalie Portman.
