Bourgeois Bohème animal friendly, chic shoes
For fantastic cruelty-free, vegan shoes and accessories I highly recommend Bourgeois Bohème. They offer a range of natural and organic products and non-leather accessories and when sourcing products take into account, the environmental impact, working conditions of producers and cruelty-free, natural ingredients. Their products are completely vegan, right down to the glue used to hold shoes together.
If you are worried about having stinky feet in non-leather shoes, fear not. Their footwear is crafted from either, organic hemp, synthetic leather (polyurethane coated fabrics), which are durable and breathable (so they say), a polyurethane/cotton material (which has the benefit of being biodegradable) and microfibre (a fab and breathable, suede look material).
In with the metallic trend I recommend the Amelia shoe for £45, made from distressed gold pleather and the Zara shoe for £42, made from cream canvas with gold faux leather detailing.
