World Fairtrade Day

FairtradeDay.jpg

Did you know it’s World Fair Trade Day tomorrow. It is celebrated every second Saturday of May and is endorsed by the International Fair Trade Association. This year's theme is "Kids and Fair Trade", and is promoting providing families with a descent income so they don’t have to send their children out to work.

So what are we meant to do? Well, buy more fairtrade goods and use fairtrade stores for starters. But there will be events happening all over the country. How about the ‘Fashion Made Fair’ summer sale at the Truman Brewery, London, which will showcase the best of ethical fashion.
