Here's some good news for anyone who's ever looked with envy at bottles of cillit-bang while exhausting all reserves or elbow-grease trying to clean the house without chemicals. According to a study by Which? Magazine, green cleaning products are not only adequate - they may actually be more effective than their toxin-laden counterparts.
In the Which? survey, consumers were asked to rank products in terms of performance, ease of use, cost per use, and value for money. The highest performing cleaning product - outstripping a host of better known competitors - was Antony Worrall Thompson’s Fresh and Green Bathroom Cleaner and Limescale Remover (£1.99). It came top of the sprays, scoring an extremely high 91% in the grilling given by Which?. You can pick up a bottle at WWF's Earthly Goods online store.
