Trendster ethical fashion
I am always on the look out for great organic and ethical fashion. Today I managed to find a website that has some very reasonably priced and stylish fashion items. Hurrah! Trendster Clothing Ltd, established by Darshana Myronidis, aim to assist developing countries by using suppliers who purchase and manufacture products from them at fair trade prices and in sweat shop free conditions. Trendster use recycled packaging for their goods and lead free inks for their screen printing.
I like the Organic Glam Tie Top, made from 100% organic cotton, for a mere £20, teamed with the Organic Soul Skirt, woven with 55% hemp, 42% organic cotton and 5% spandex for a bit of stretch, for £32. Sourcing a stylish and ethical outfit can often cost a small fortune, so it’s great to find something inexpensive that doesn’t look like a sack.
