Recycled wooden wedding ring from Gustav Reyes

4.jpgThese wooden wedding rings are recycled from salvaged pieces of wood and crafted into unqiue wedding rings. So, whilst they aren't your standard gold or silver or with any fancy stones, at least you've got a good idea were they came from. You can personalise them too by having them made from almost any type of wood to your exact specifications from almost any piece of timber. Prices start from around $120 for a pre-made ring with bespoke designs on request.

Gustav Reyes will not contact me regarding a ring I ordered in March 2007 and still have not received in May 2007. I hope he will contact me. Thank you.

I ordered rings for my wedding in January 2007. We received them and they were beautiful. Unfortunately, less than a day after the wedding, my ring splintered when my hand bumped against a car seat.

I was crushed, and Gustav kindly replaced the ring for me for free. BUT - the replacement ring was the wrong size (slightly too tight) and started delaminating (unraveling). Now I don't wear the ring because I'm terrified of it falling apart.

I've emailed and called Gustav repeatedly asking if he can repair it, and offering to pay for shipping, etc. I haven't had any response.

As much as I hate to say it, I'd recommend buying a recycled silver/gold/etc. metal ring, as they'd be more durable. A wood ring doesn't fit into my lifestyle, where my hands frequently contact water (cooking, baking, etc.).

The ring was beautiful, but I wish Gustav was more responsive, and the ring better made.
