Pero organic pet food

organic_cat.jpgThe amount of junk that is put into normal pet food has always troubled me. I mean, cats and dogs seem to enjoy the meat derivatives, but I certainly don't enjoy serving them up! Pero petfood's organic range is refreshingly different, with their list of ingredients reading more like something a human (albeit meat eater) would enjoy. For example their chicken and rice cat food contains over 26% organic chicken, plus organic honey and vegetables. Your pet will get all the essential ingredients it needs to maintain it's healthy, active lifestyle, without all the added nasties.

The other great thing is all of the regular ingredients that have been linked to skin and intestinal allergies have been removed, so your pet won't have to suffer unnecessary discomfort. The food is in dry biscuit form (ideal for the squeamish veggie pet owners) and comes in flavours like chicken and rice and ocean fish. A 7.5kg bag of food will cost you £22.90.

I can recommend Benevo Duo, available from http://www.veggiepets.com/, if anyone prefers a vegetarian/vegan pet food. Suitable for both cats and dogs, and both my cats seem to enjoy it. In the past we've also served them Evolution Cat Food, available from http://www.petfoodshop.com/, but it's difficult and expensive to ship from the USA if you're not living there.

Benevo Duo sounds almost good enough to eat! :
