Origins Farmaesthetics - sustainable herbal skincare
Orgins have brought out a new range of herbal skincare, coining it 'Farmaesthetics' which is a bit of a mouthful really. The 100% natural range, based on 'wellness approach to skincare' is inspired by American approaches to skincare using organically grown flowers and herbs from the farm.
The small range features products that includes a Deep Lavender Rub to relax muscles, Hand to Heal softening salve for hands, Cool Aloe Mist and Sweet Soy Oil with prices starting at US$20. The products don't appear to be available in the UK yet. [via Kiss and Makeup]

Dear Hippyshopper,
I wanted to let you know that there is incorrect information posted on your site: Farmaesthetics is not an Origins owned brand. It is a small woman-owned, sustainable business based in Rhode Island and founded there, at an organic farmstand, in the summer of 1999 (hence the name Farmaesthetics, made up by founder Brenda Brock, not Origins!).
Since Fall 2006, Origins has been retailing Farmaesthetics products in their US retail stores, but Farmaesthetics is primarily used and offered
in top spas like the Golden Door, Fred Segal Beauty & The Mayflower.
We thought you'd want to know, so you can continue to provide accurate information to your subscribers.
Thanks for featuring us on your wonderful site,
Tabitha & all of us at Farmaesthetics,
