I'm usually a beer drinker, but when the sun comes out I'm often tempted by a cool glass of cider. I don't condone these new fangled ciders that are poured over ice, that's just plain wrong, and I definitely prefer my alcoholic apple juice to be pesticide free. Organic wine experts Vintage Roots have a 'cider sipper case' available at the moment, which contains five bottles of four varieties of English organic cider. It includes Stowford Press Supreme Dry Cider, Premium Organic Cider, Sheppy's Organic Cider and Black Fox Cider. Each one has it's own distinctive qualities, but all are clean tasting and refreshing, and perfect if your planning summer barbecues or parties. Just don't spoil them with ice! A case of 20 bottles costs £34.50.
