Make yourself up with Living Nature Cosmetics
I often struggle to find decent organic cosmetics. Believe me, I would love to leave the house bare faced, but at risk of everyone turning to stone upon staring upon my pasty, mottled face, I prefer the painted option.
Living Nature has launched a new cosmetics range with 100% natural ingredients. Having mulled over the ingredients of some of the items I am not so sure. I looked up one of them, CI 77491 and apparently it is fabulous for producing paint and primers, undercoats and fillers and colouring concrete products. I wonder how amenable my skin would be to such an ingredient. It also contains talc, which has been linked by some studies to tumours in animals.
Having said that, it is really difficult to find cosmetics that consist of completely innocuous ingredients. The Living Nature range does consist mainly of natural oils and substances. The Jet Black Mascara is a good option (unless you are vegan) and is infinitely more natural than the slap you usually find in stores. The Pure Buff foundation is non-pore-clogging and the Luminous Powder utilises natural minerals to give reflective and refractive properties. This apparently gives you a healthy glow.
So, all in all, the Living Nature cosmetics range is...well...quite good, but then I have yet to find any natural cosmetics that are superb. I will let you know when I do. Until then, I might just wear a paper bag over my head.

There are many really good natural makeups out there that aren't faux natural. They aren't all organic but then organic can be so misleading as you only need a small percentage of ingredients to say it's organic, the rest can be 'nasties' like sls parabens etc.
If you are looking for a conventional liquid foundation I would suggest Logonas and if you haven't ventured into mineral makeup then take a look at Lily lolo -www.lilylolo.co.uk, barefaced beauty - www.barefacedbeauty.co.uk, putity - www.puritycosmetics.co.uk.
