Grundig introduces eco-friendlier TVs
Like watching TV but wondering if you're hurting the environment? Or does that only occur to
me er, you, when a 'green' programme is on? Grundig have just announced their LCD TV range is expanding to include eco-friendlier sets with plans to use a CarbonNeutral programme to offset CO2 emissions with the associated usage of LCD TVs sold in the UK.
The first screens to be launched will be the 26, 32 and 37 inch TVs, with tips included in each box for reducing your carbon footprint, and a fuller range of offset products to be launched later in the year. Other projects Grundig are supporting include Methane capture in the USA (hopefully not as revolting as it sounds), wind farming in India and forestry in the UK.

Can't be that eco-friendly if you have to use offset schemes. Isn't there a way of seeing which LCD TVs consume the least amount of energy?
