Eco-Art creative metal recycled sculptures

dog1.jpgArtist Tim Pace creates wonderful sculptures from industrial waste, like abandoned farm vehicles and broken play park equipment. The results are both amusing and breathtaking, with his collection including giant bugs and other animals. He tries to ensure that the original salvaged items are still recognisable in the finished pieces, like this shovel headed dog, so you get a sense of each sculpture's past and its former use. Previously an electrician, Tim has no formal training as an artist which, I thinks, adds to the quirkiness of his designs. Prices range from US$20 to US$1000 and he will happily commission pieces, as big or as small as you like.

My partner, artist Dolan Geiman, does work with rescued wood and objects. Check out our website (www.dolangeiman.com), Etsy page (dolangeiman.etsy.com), and Flickr page (flickr.com/photos/dolangeiman). See the rescued wood constructions in particular.
