Dorothy Perkins teams up with the Woodland Trust

woodland%20trust.jpg

I should stress that no claims are being made here about fairtrade production (although we did establish in an earlier post that their organic certification is, in fact, kosher), but if you want to help preserve Britain's woodlands while buying cheap and cheerful clothing, you could do worse than to check out Dorothy Perkins' new Woodland Trust range.

It's a nice little line of t-shirts and shoppers made from 100% organic cotton with a part of the profits going to the Trust. You can also buy cool printed wellies and a badge. As I mentioned before only a portion of the profits go to the Trust, and there's no mention of ethical labour in the range, but the fact that they've opted for organic cotton is definitely a move in the right direction.
