Whole Foods Market announces opening day: June 6th

whole%20foods%20market.jpgThe big day draws closer...that is, the day that Whole Foods Market thunders into the UK with a whopping 80,000 square feet of organic goodness that means supermarket shopping can never be the same again. And today, I've learnt that this will be happening at 10am on Wednesday June 6th. Is your wallet ready for this all-natural, additive-free assault?

The London store, to be situated on Kensington High Street, will be spread over three floors, which will consist of a 'provisions hall', which will offer freshly baked breads, biscuits, cakes and pastries that have been made in-house using 100% pure and natural ingredients. Gourmet foods such as artisan cheeses, olive oils, micro-brewed beers and wines will also be available here. “Downstairs you'll find an array of fresh fruit and vegetables, and a host of fresh meat and fish, while “Upstairs at the Market” will host 11 different food venues including, oven-baked pizza, dim sum, sushi, a trattoria and a juice bar.
