The Solar Grill from Tammock Trading uses a flexible mirror to focus sun beams onto the specially-designed barbecue cup, quickly cooking food without the need for fuel or fire, which means it would also be perfect to use anywhere that doesn't allow fires such as campsites or festival grounds.
At 180Euros (£120), it's more expensive than your average barbecue, but well worth it for the novelty value alone, not to mention the planet and fuel saving bonus.
