Fruity Friday - healthy eating initiative

Fruity%20friday.JPGMay 25 is apparently going to be a 'Fruity Friday' in an initiative by JAZZ apples and the World Cancer Research Fund UK’s (WCRF). They aim to encourage you and me to take up our 5-a-day fruit and veg and keep us eating healthily. The project has been running for three years and this year will see 70,000 interactive scratch posters distributed throughout schools, business, community and medical centres. The aim of the poster is you write your name on a square in the hope of finding Pip the Strawberry, donate a £1 and on May 25, the winning square will win half the cash and the charity gets the other half.

If you happen to be around Oxford Circus or Piccadilly Circus tube stations on May 4th you'll also see JAZZ apple giveaways. They'll also be in Cavendish Square on May 21 and Canary Wharf on Fruity Friday itself.
