Elle goes green for second year running
Fashion glossy Elle has had a green makeover this month with an environment-themed issue guest edited by eco campaigner Laurie David, of Stop Global Warming, and Danny Seo (Hollywood eco-stylist and author of the “Simply Green” book series).
Proving once again style and sustainability can get on just fine, the green issue is now an annual occurence at Elle. The issue (which is, of course, printed on recycled paper, a detail that M&S overlooked with its Plan A leaflets - d'oh!) is dedicated to environmental topics, and includes the winners the magazine's 'green awards', with categories such as 'putting Hollywood in Hybrids' and 'solving the plastic problem'. I feel a certain former presidential candidate may have had an unfair advantage in the 'being Al Gore' category, but they have a fair point! The issue comes out next Tuesday (17th April).
