Emmeline 4 Re: From landfill to catwalk

emmeline.JPGNew fashion label Emmeline 4 Re specialise in 'saving' old textiles from the landfill by turning them into some really natty, stylish garments. The label's team of designers hand-pick buttons, trims and fabrics making each piece unique as well as funky, and their early collections show some really innovative ideas.

Emmeline 4 Re's current collection, British Eccentricity, references the style of Vivienne Westwood, with asymetric punky skirts, girly lace, layering and lots of prints. There are also some quite beautiful crocheted shoes.

The label has already clocked up a respectable list of stockists in various locations; they include Junky Styling in London's Brick Lane and Bias in Northampton.
