100% Vegan and organic beauty from Raw Gaia

raw%20gaia.jpgAs a vegan who uses organic products I often struggle to find high quality beauty products that meet the criteria of being completely natural and free from any animal products or by-products. There is a fair bit of fibbing going on when it comes to manufacturers claims about their organic credentials. Whilst scouring the internet one day for a viable solution I discovered, to my delight, Raw Gaia skincare products. Raw Gaia offer a range of goodies, including: moisturisers, cleansers and toners, face packs, body butters and lip balms.

These fabulous products are made from 100% vegan and organic (yes, they really are) ingredients, such as cocoa butter and cold pressed essential oils. The bods at Gaia retain the nutritional integrity of the products by managing to avoid heating them above 40°C in the production process. Heating oils at high temperatures creates transfatty acids, which can weaken cell membranes and lead to the production of free radicals.

There are no hidden nasties like petrochemicals, parabens and lauryl sulphates, just pure natural goodness.

I adore the Living Hemp Moisturiser, rich in Omega 3 and 6 fatty acids, which have been shown in clinical trials to aid dry skin problems. It glides onto the skin, feels intensely nourishing and smells good enough to eat. If you want all natural, go for Raw Gaia.
