It's that bag again. I was rather hoping to get my hands on one of these on its second shipment to London, but it seems I wasn't fast enough this time: 10,000 more determined shoppers beat me to it! :(
Demand for the Anya Hindmarch bag, still priced at £5 (unless you go the Ebay route and pay up to £85-and-counting) continues to overwhelm supplies, and yesterday's shipment sold out at Harvey Nich's and Harrods in just 90 minutes. Are all those bag ladies fighting the green cause? Probably not, but it's a sign of how far things have come when over ten thousand fashionistas will queue for an item with an environmental message.
