Re M&S - this bandwagonning has got so fashionable that it's going to be interesting to see what these big companies do when the eco-thing isn't trendy any more. Great to see them tripped up. It's all about profit after all.
Yes, I'd be the first to agree there is a green bandwagon gaining some considerable speed at the moment, and a lot of it is far from sincere. The M&S thing was a bit of a surprise though because they seemed to be making the most genuine effort out of all these stores. Maybe they just have the best publicity machine...

Seriously, though, I imagine there isn't a retail boardroom in the country that doesn't have a bright young spark forever being pressed to be 'greener' than the business next door. It's like the 'organic' preoccupation at the supermarkets – how are we to know whether we're just paying through the nose for these products? Isn't there an anti-organic backlash due in hours?
