New series of 'It's not easy being green' tomorrow, 8.30 BBC2
If you enjoyed the adventures of Dick Strawbridge and his family as they faced up to the reality of building an eco-friendly life in the country, you'll be pleased to hear you can catch up with them again tomorrow when a new series of It's Not Easy Being Green starts on BBC2.
If, like me, you were left dumbstruck and just a little daunted by the sheer scale of what the Strawbridge clan managed to achieve in series 1, you might find their new project a bit more applicable to your own life. This time around, Dick and son James (who, I can reveal, is already getting down to some topless allotment-digging in episode one, girls) come to the aid of ordinary people who want to adopt a greener lifestyle. From the couple on the verge of ploughing £750,000 into a fully self-sufficient house to the family learning about home-grown veg to imrpove their child's health, the series should make engaging and educational viewing.
