Makepiece - sheep to chic
Makepiece produce two collections per year from yarn. As well as keeping their own sheep and goats, they source other yarns from around the British Isles. The best wool is then spun and dyed with organic matter or natural dyes and knitted by specialist knitters. They've stuck to UK suppliers to reduce carbon emissions and have a strong sense of ethical commitment.
Whilst the website is informative, it has one crucial problem - the clothes are barely pictured!
