London's Hair & Beauty salon introduces organic hair colours

You can put organic food into your bodies and organic beauty products on your skin, but what about all those nasty chemicals on your hair? A thing of the past perhaps. Top UK colourist Karine Jackson's Hair & beauty salon on Litchfield Street, Covent Garden, has launched a range of organic colours using naturally sourced products such as aloe vera, vomfrey, orange and grapefruit and doesn't contain ammonia. Allergy sufferers should also note that the organic range has the lowest possible percentage of PPDs to reduce the risk of allergic reaction.

"The natural and organic movement, fuelled by health concerns in the UK, is gaining increased momentum in the field of beauty and hair care and we should be looking at the greener alternatives to chemical ranges,” says Karine, noting, "Organic Colour Systems does not cost any more than conventional hair colour and the feedback we’ve received has been fantastic – people are raving about how glossy and soft their hair is after colouring.”
