Green car guide launched
I'll always be sceptical of the phrase 'green motoring', but there's no denying that for many people their car is either a necessity for getting around, or one of the luxuries they'd least like to give up.
To help those who are eco-conscious but want the freedom of their own set of wheels, the Environmental Transport Association produces a yearly guide to the best (and worst) cars on the market from an environmental viewpoint. The 2007 guide has just been launched.
Unsurprisingly perhaps, the worst 10 cars are all produced by Lamborghini, Ferrari, Bentley and Aston Martin, while Honda scoops the award for the most environmentally car with its new Civic Hybrid.
The ETA also offer information on reducing fuel consumption while driving, along with tips for buying the greenest car possible for those who can't afford a brand-new car of any type.
