Give your home a green makeover with Ecover

Ecover1.jpgEcover has recently teamed up with the Stop Climate Chaos Coalition to give you the chance to win a green spring clean for your home, a copy of Ecover's Healthy Homes book, and a copy of the coalition's I count book - all you'll need to ensure your home gets green-clean and stays that way! Instructions on how to enter will be on Ecover's products in coming weeks. Ecover is also interested in your views on being green, and your attitudes towards green living. Why not complete the survey here, and give them some ideas on the sort of green products you would like to see on the shelves?

Stop Climate Chaos Coalition's I Count campaign is worth looking into if you're trying to do more for the world; it engages people to take part in all sorts of activities to help stop climate change, and currently has 38,557 members.

What is it with Ecover? Their products seemed to be all about several years ago and then - possibly as a result of iffy publicity - they dropped out of view. Well, mine anyway. Now I'm seeing their stuff in the supermarkets again. Has it been bought out by Unilever or soemthing? And can anyone tell me if these products really do work well?

In response to Gill's comment:

Ecover was founded in 1980 and over the past 6 years our distribution has extended and now we are regularly available in supermarkets as well as health food stores across the UK. Ecover has been a privately owned company since 1999.

Ecover’s mission is to provide effective and sustainable products – we aim to make products that have minimum impact on the environment but don’t compromise on doing the job! Our new Non-Bio Integrated Washing Powder performed as well as the leading brand in recent tests and has been approved by the Good Housekeeping Institute.

I hope this has answered your queries – if not you can find out loads more information and contact us from our website www.ecover.com
