Comic Relief: Charlie and Lola bring the fairtrade message to kids

charlie%20lola.jpg To the uninitiated, the adventures of seven-year-old Charlie and his feisty little sister Lola are a big hit just now with kids. And in their latest picture book, brought out to coincide with Red Nose Day, they're back with a chocolate-coated message that will soon get 'fairtrade' into your child's vocabulary...

In the book, Lola really extremely likes chocolate. But Lola is sure that it comes from the shops, so Charlie tells his little sister all about her favourite treat - where it really comes from, how it is made and how some chocolate is fairer than other chocolate. There are also 100 sheets of stickers to have fun with.

'But I do know all about chocolate' by Lauren Child is available to buy for just £2.99 at your local bookshop (it's already sold out online). £2 of the proceeds go to Comic Relief with each purchase.
