Aga looks to boost market share as energy efficiency demand hots up
Traditional, cast-iron ovens may be back in vogue - and could even become more affordable - as oven maker Aga is hoping to benefit from growing awareness of green issues.
The company is offering a 'special dividend' to potential investors following an 8% increase in profits for 2006.

More people are choosing to buy an Aga, possibly because the cookers can be run on carbon-neutral wood fuel, and once an Aga is up to operating temperature just a trickle of energy is all that`s needed to keep it there. Later this year, Aga will be launching a new feature on its existing range, giving owners the option of setting the temperature to a more energy efficient level. We'll keep you posted on availability.
