Eden Project to host Sexy Green Car Show
We've come a long way since the days of the Sinclair C5...nowadays, not only is it acceptable to mention the words 'sexy' and 'electric car' in the same sentence, but green cars are among the most desirable models around, with celebrities clamouring for 'a go' in the latest Tesla Roadster at the Oscars last weekend.
And now you can go and see the green machines in all their glory. The Eden Project is hosting the first Sexy Green Car Show from March 30th to April 15th...
Entry is free to the event, which will take place at the giant greenhouse in Cornwall. As well as electric cars, they'll be showcasing biofuel and hybrid cars, including Saab’s 9300 biopower convertible and 9300 biopower cutaway, the Ford Focus Flexi Fuel bio-ethanol car (pictured), and the latest Toyota Prius hybrid model. Great to see the environment and motoring bods getting together to do something constructive!
