ecocentra: A green alternative to ebay

Ecocentraecocentra is a new online marketplace that only lists products that are of an eco-friendly and ethical nature. So, you'll be able to advertise that surplus of home-made organic jam to a like-minded audience.

The site is open to all - organisations and individuals. Even better, listing is completely free. Commission is only charged when you sell something (and then it's just 2%).

To mark this recent launch ecocentra are waiving the 2% commission until 31st January 2007. Also, as a special offer for HippyShopper readers, ecocentra are giving a further six months free use if you list at least five products. To get the six month deal simply join at the website, and email info@ecocentra.com quoting "hippy shopper offer".

Theres no final value fees and no listing fees. we make all our money from selling advertising space on the site. And check out our charities page. You will see that just by using the site you are helping charities. We actually pay our users, if you have a myspace, facebook, bebo or even your own website, we will actually pay you just to have our link on your site (£1 for every verified sign up that comes from your unique link) Check out the website at www.itchypig.co.uk.

A highly recommended site is elfingo.com for online auctions. They are the new ebay. Many smaller sites like this offer buyers far better deals than ebay ever could. Buyser also save a ton because this site charges little or nothing depending on the day. One more reaso I like elfingo.com is because they don't take a part of the sale at all. No commissions or final value fees. A+++ http://www.elfingo.com
