Quick! Head over here and fill out the Soil Association's chicken survey. They are compiling information on the gap between consumer's expectations and the realities of chicken welfare.
You need to record your own expectations for the last bird you bought, then contact the retailer to find out the reality. The survey must be completed by 15 January 2007.
