Solar Poinsettia fiber-optics up your Christmas

yhst-99239380869547_1920_9927258.jpeg

Advent is coming and the Christmas fairy lights are strewn all over - but here's a quick way to decorate that won't cost the earth. The Solar Poinsettia is a fake flower brightened up with fiber optic sticks that are charged up by solar power. They're 'weather resistant' so you can stick a pot of them out on your festive balcony and forget about 'em, instead of having to scale the side of your flat complex precariously installing a mains line. (Which means surely there are solar-powered LED Christmas fairy lights in general? I shall report shortly.) $26 USD. [GT]
