There aren't as many options for solar Christmas fairy lights as one might hope, but the gorgeous Solar Lighted Starburst Garland Blue/White LEDs are well worth considering. Featuring six acrylic stars which change colour between (you guessed it) blue and white, the stars are spaced at one meter intervals on a six meter line, dangling on individual wires about 30cm long. So while you do still have to fasten up the central line, at least you don't run up your power bill or have to fuss with hooking it up to the mains. $50 USD. [GT]
