Unitika's Corn Based Fashion

Japanese fashion house Unitika has become the latest to embrace Ingeo, the corn-based fabric with the drape of silk and the compostability of, well, corn.  Lest you think biodegradeability implies it has to be treated super-carefully, some of the clothes modeled from Unitika were bathing costumes, which did not melt when doused with water.  Just don't get buried in the sand for too long.  [GT]
