I'm surprised that Research Editor John could stand to let me know about SecretStorageBooks, considering he has several walls covered in books and doesn't even let me dog-ear the pages as bookmarks. A refinement on the classic hollowed out book, these small safes are recycled from volumes which presumably no longer hold up as readerly. Each tome is necessarily mostly unique; some you'll want to own because you love them, and some because you detested them and are glad to see the wood pulp put to better use. Price varies a lot, but is mostly between $20 USD and $30 USD, with the occasional one reaching into the $50 USD area. Presumably if you pay even more, you can get a custom job done. [GT]
