Felt Cushion with Eco Fibre Filling
What first struck me about the Striped felt cushion with eco fibre filling at the always-delightful EcoCentric was that it looked precisely like any other fashionable throw pillow - it's status as green furnishing is something you can choose to advertise. That's partly because it uses synthetic dyes, though they're still compliant to the "oeco-tex 100" standard that means you can basically eat them on a dare. They're made from Ingeo, the cornstarch-derived fabric that is totally compostable, and indeed will biodegrade when its done lying beneath your noble skull. Each cushion has a different design on each side, measures 50cmx50cm, and costs £39.99. [GT]
