Eat local blackcurrants for heart health
Anthocyanins are what give black currants their dark colour, but they also help relax your arteries (in a good way) and lower your overall cholesterol. Black currants also help fight UTI infection, Alzheimer's disease, MRSA and cancer. Also, they taste good, but they taste best of all when they're local (plus they're freshest, which probably means they have the most of the good stuff in them - but if you can't manage fresh, remember Rachel's Organic Low Fat with black currants - at least it's portable!).
