Okay, enough about the top of the body (for today, anyhow). Let's give the bottom of the body some attention. Here we find the same conundrum: that the shoes are cow-friendly doesn't mean they're cruelty-free. Fortunately, here you don't have to pick - you can get a super range of flats and sandals and high heels from VeganStore for a very modest £29.99. Sneakers start at £35. Organic hemp trainers go for £53. And, could it be? Why yes, I did find kitten heel mules for £19.99. Ladies, we've got no excuse for impure closets. And for the gentlemen?
The men's shoes start a bit higher, at £34.99, but heck, £34.99 for an Italian dress shoe doesn't sound bad to begin with - throw in that it's vegan and I don't know why they have any left in stock. Slippers start at £19.99 for a basic grey thermal fleece. The top end for men is £74.95 for the No Bull Savage Boot, with a Puratex water resistant lining, Black Lorica upper and padded footbed. Given you can spend 75 quid on hiking boots without trying very hard, if you can get a vegan and cruelty free pair instead for the same cash, that's where everybody wins.

http://www.vegetarian-shoes.co.uk/ have a bigger range than that store, including some really well designed, original shoes (this is a particular favourite of mine: http://www.vegetarian-shoes.co.uk/pc-81-6-armadillo-shoe.aspx ). I've been buying all my trainers/shoes from them for the past 6 years or so, and would heartily recommend them.
