The First Flush Darjeeling Teas from Thunderbolt Tea have just come on the market.  Normally they'd be out already but the rain was nerve-wrackingly delayed - but finally they came, the tea burst into luscious green goodness, and now you can buy it.  This is fair-trade at its best - you are ordering directly from the estates in Darjeeling!  So the tea is extremely fresh, the quality is extremely high, the prices are extremely good, and you can feel extremely good about supporting individual growers.  Yum!

modular Thunderbolt teas are all loose, rather than bagged, which improves your cup andAryarub_ff_06t dramatically reduces your price.  The cheapest available is Orange Valley, at $19.75 for 250g (compare to Stash Ambootia Darjeeling loose tea at around $20 for only 100g).  Makabari Silver Tips (left picture) is $30.87 for 250g of organic tea.  The most expensive is Arya Ruby (pictured to the right), fully bio-organic, $46.15 for 250g.  Read on for information about the Arya Tea Estate.  For a top-quality tea, that price is absolutely fantastic.  Get over there now before it's all gone.

sad to say but i had ordered Puttabong Supreme and Badamtam 1st Flush last year, but in both the packets the tea was the same and not different,so I would like people be cautious as this company is not registered with the tea authority of India and has no licence to use the Darjeeling CTM marks
