Two double-use baby helpers
Instead of a standard high chair tray with a bowl on it, at a very reasonable $10 the Clip-Away Feeding Tray looks like an awfully convenient alternative. It suction-cups onto the high chair tray so that the baby can't just fling it on the floor. It also has a bunch of compartments and a cover, so it can double as a carrying tray to take to the babysitter's or daycare, or even on airplanes.
The SnG (Stroll'n'Go), $229 USD, is a combination stroller and carseat, specially
designed to let you pop the carseat out into stroller mode in one move, and slide the stroller into the car as a carseat in one (other) move. It even has a slot where you can plug in a music player so that the infant can listen to something soothing, probably Baby Mozart.
The lifespan of baby gear is so short that it's especially great to see it be multi-purpose - easier on the wallet and the environment.
