Toast, purveyor of exclusive ladies boho fashion, have now added a range of simple organic cotton tops. The new summer line includes soft jersey vests and scoop neck singlets priced from £25 to £30. I do like the subdued colour range - pebble grey, dusk blue, ivy green, bitter chocolate and ivory. Toast is available at Selfridges, by post and at their sale shop in the beautiful village of Llandeilo, Wales. I'd recommend a trip to Llandeilo if you're in the area, which has unique boutique's and craft houses, organic foodie shops and even an eco-store selling second hand stuff (The Green House). [Ella]

I contacted Toast for information on their ethical/environmental policies. Julia Ma at Toast replied - "We do have a strict code of conduct to which all suppliers must sign up to before we allow them to work for us. This includes all of the basics that most people in the UK take for granted such as decent working conditions, a fair wage and a regard for the environment. We will not tolerate child labour or any other forms of exploitation such as bonded labour or involuntary prison labour."
