Recycline's Preserve recycled plastic goods
Recycline is a company specifically making new plastic goods out of recycled plastic. They started with Preserve toothbrushes, where the shaft was made from 100% recycled plastic, in a box (designed to be a carrying case rather than disposable) made from cellulose, with brand information printed on 50% post-consumer recycled paper, with soy ink. They will also re-bristle your toothbrush when it wears out. An idea that good shouldn't be limited to toothbrushes, so they've expanded.
Also available from Recycline are toothpicks, razor handles and blades, tongue cleaners, and most recently, plastic tableware. None of their goods are animal tested and a lot of the plastic comes from Stonyfield Farm yogurt cups.
The Preserve Jr. toothbrush is designed to be ergonomically easier for kids to hold, and is available in a variety of different endangered species so you can be educated while you brush. Also, you can subscribe via their online store to have new toothbrushes sent periodically. (No information about international shipping rates though - but how bad can they be? Toothbrushes are pretty small.)
