Dead Ringers?

Deadringerswebpage_a103

On March 29, the Science Museum in London opened 'Dead Ringers?', a free exhibition on the wastefulness of the mobile phone.  It includes the Motorola phone with the sunflower seed in it, the NEC biodegradeable phone, an allegedly lasagne-based  circuit board, and new Nokia tech that will hopefully reduce heavy metals used in future mobiles.  It includes alarming facts like that a whopping 1712 mobile phones are upgraded every hour! in the UK alone! and that phones are replaced every 18 months but designed to last ten years.

The Science Museum is open from 10.00 until 18.00, every day, except in late December.  Visit the Science Museum site for more information to allow you to plan your visit.
