Advanced tinfoil hats to block microwave radiation

Silver_scarf

Handy-fashions.com has taken the tinfoil one step further and is providing silver-mesh fabric that they say will completely block cellphone radiation.  So you wear their mobilecap (€ 22) with flaps positioned so the fabric is between your phone and your ear, and it absorbs all the microwaves and therefore you don't get brain cancer.  Or the scarf, pictured to the left, is available in three sizes, costing €38, €72 and €129 respectively.  You tie the scarf over your ear and away you go, cancer-free.

The silver waistcoat, €160,  is a vest that lets you either carry your mobile in a shielded pocket, or carry it in an unshielded pocket so that it can receive calls.  Alternatively you can buy silver cloth and make your own clothes.

Why would you do this?  Well, handy-fashions says:

Microwaves from your cellular phone and other peoples mobile phone as well as from base stations or other sources, do have no chance against the waistcoat. The radiation cannot go through the fabric (99.999% shielding ability). With handy-fashions.com you can enjoy all the convenience modern communication technology has to offer - without putting your health at risk.

Personally I like the DIY approach to tinfoil helmets, this one is pretty good: http://zapatopi.net/afdb/build.html
