'Lanka Kade' translates as 'the Sri Lanka shop' - toys and gifts that are crafted in Sri Lanka by workers who are paid a fair price. Lanka Kade sell a great range including name plaques, height charts and furniture, as well as wooden toys and jigsaws. Painted brightly and in a range of styles, these wizard bookends are priced at £14. The company is BAFTS accredited and has a sound environmental policy (except they do use MDF in some of their products). I've bought a few Lanka Kade products in the past and would vouch for their appeal and quality. [Ella]
