Seriously posh eco nosh
Gloucestershire-based Daylesford Organic has opened an eatery on London's Sloane Square. The menu is stunning, with most ingredients grown down on the farm as sustainably, ethically, organically and traditionally as possible. All fresh produce is delivered from the farm direct to London daily. My pick of the menu would be the poached organic salmon salad (£11) with a portion of organic bread (£3) followed by the selection of organic ice cream and sorbet (£4) for dessert. A couple of drinks costs around a fiver taking the total for lunch to £23. Not exactly sustainable for my pocket but what price the planet, eh? Definitely worth it for special occassions.
