It’s a new year and you’ll be needing a new calendar. Why not make space for a lunar calendar which shows the 12 solar months of moon phases. The moon influences the tides, plants and fertility and by following the calendar you may know the best time to build sandcastles or make a baby (well perhaps not entirely!). RiverOcean, a non-profit making organisation based in Brighton working to encourage care of our water environments, produces the calendar (left) at a reasonable £4.80 including p&p. If you are looking for a more straightforward planner then Natural Collection have a beautifully illustrated Ecological Calendar (£10.95) which is packed with useful information and is lovely to display.
