Holy Mansfield, Batman!
It's a table for a disco, really. The Mansfield table, made of sustainable wood and non-toxic adhesives, is a lovely piece of furniture by the light of day. But flick off the lights, turn on the embedded LED light system, and you don't even need candlelight. It can cycle through colours, or you can choose the one you like best. Apparently it's built to last - it should be, for US$4500 - and using LEDs it should be energy efficient. I'm in two minds. The woodwork itself seems lovely, but the LED's make me feel like I should be doing the Macarena around it. [Elana]
